EBC’s brand new range of brake lines are manufactured to the highest quality and offers one of the most comprehensive ranges on the market, with a part for almost every automotive or motorcycle application. EBC brake lines are manufactured from the highest quality materials, with braided stainless steel PTFE hose and grade 303 stainless steel precision machined fittings. EBC do not use mild steel or aluminium components in our brake lines, instead we choose stainless steel for every component, as this material offers maximum quality in terms of strength and corrosion resistance. As an absolute guarantee of quality, EBC brake lines manufactured to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS-106). What makes EBC brake lines the best quality? 100% pressure tested after assembly. Identical routing as originals. Every brake line is factory built, NOT’workshop made’ or’build-a-line’ EBC Brakes manufacturers 100% of our brake lines in our UK factory, and unlike many other brands, do not sell in component form for customers to make up their own brake lines in their own workshop. This gives you and the customer peace of mind, knowing that every single EBC brake line kit has been manufactured to FMVSS-106 exacting standards, by professionals, in our state of the art production facility. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards – article 106. Every brake line is pressure tested after full assembly EBC Brakes pressure tests 100% of our brake lines to 4000 psi after assembly. EBC do not, and we do not condone the pressure testing of’individual components’ before full assembly, as this does not test or guarantee the quality of the fully assembled line. Our manufacturing method ensures that each and every EBC brake line has been tested to be of the highest quality, safe and fit for purpose. EBC has one of the widest range of fittings to choose from, ensuring a perfect fit for each and every vehicle application. EBC brake lines follow identical routing as the originals EBC brake lines route via the same path as the original line. We do not’bend around fenders’ or take the quickest and easiest route between the master cylinder or hard-line. Routing as originals ensures safe clearance and full travel of steering, suspension and other moving parts on the vehicle. Motorcycle race lines do not route as originals, instead they route directly between the caliper and master cylinder for maximum fluid transfer and best braking performance. Additional Information for Motorcycle Brake Lines All motorcycle brake lines (except Harley) are supplied with black stainless fittings, clear hose and red/blue EBC heat shrink. Harley Davidson brake lines EBC Harley lines are supplied in a unique finish, with chromed stainless fittings, black hose and black/space-grey. EBC heat shrink (as pictured to the right). Additionally, where many competitors use’off the shelf’ components, EBC Harley lines are manufactured using our own bespoke design of chrome plated hardware and brackets, ensuring perfect fitment for complex Harley brake line assemblies. Motocross and off-road brake lines EBC motocross and off-road brake lines are supplied with a hardened plastic sheath around the lower portion of the hose, to provide additional protection against damage which could otherwise result from the harsh and unforgiving conditions of off-road terrain. These brake lines are built to withstand a lifetime of off-road abuse, ensuring high performance and safe riding for the lifetime of the vehicle.
