Polish the pistons up after examining to prolong the life. Clear the seal groves thoroughly of all corrosion along with all threads. Rebuild calipers using high quality seals. We replace all bleed screws, rubber boots & gaiters, caliper bolts if they have them. All bolts changed and replaced with Stainless steel bolts (Excluding Rear calipers). We will complete a pressure test to ensure the caliper is operating as it should. We have pad pins, brake pads and stainless-steel Banjo bolts available, charged extra. If pistons are damaged, we will notify you before we rebuild the calipers so that you have the final say if you want new ones or not. Stainless Steel Bolts fitted. Disconnect your caliper from the mounts and from the banjo bolt. Remove all loose fittings, Banjo bolts, pads, pad pins, pad covers ect. Drain your calipers completely free of brake fluid. Protect your calipers by wrapping them in bubble wrap for example. Box your calipers but before you tape the box shut.. Put this note in a plastic bag so that any remaining brake fluid from your calipers doesn’t make the ink run. We have tried to be accurate in our advertising but if your caliper does not match the piston quantity advertised then rest assured. What we will do with your calipers. Disassemble calipers and clean all parts removing all dirt on the caliper shells and pistons. Grit blast the calipers back to bare metal. Repaint in your chosen color – BLACK & GOLD are the most popular but refer to the color chart if you want something else. Your painted calipers will be oven cured so that the paint has longevity. Polish the pistons up after examining to prolong the life. Clear the seal groves thoroughly of all corrosion along with all threads. Rebuild calipers using high quality seals. We replace all bleed screws, rubber boots & gaiters, caliper bolts if they have them. All bolts changed and replaced with Stainless steel bolts (Excluding Rear calipers). We will complete a pressure test to ensure the caliper is operating as it should. We have pad pins, brake pads and stainless-steel Banjo bolts available, charged extra. If pistons are damaged, we will notify you before we rebuild the calipers so that you have the final say if you want new ones or not. Stainless Steel Bolts fitted. Disconnect your caliper from the mounts and from the banjo bolt. Remove all loose fittings, Banjo bolts, pads, pad pins, pad covers ect. Drain your calipers completely free of brake fluid. Protect your calipers by wrapping them in bubble wrap for example. Box your calipers but before you tape the box shut.. Put this note in a plastic bag so that any remaining brake fluid from your calipers doesn’t make the ink run. Send your calipers with a trusted carrier to our address – (Please message for the address on where to send your calipers to) we can help with organising to send the calipers to us. If we find any damage to your pistons or any other parts of your caliper we will get in touch with you to discuss replacements at an additional cost, we will only every recommend changing pistons, we leave the final decision to you. Although the paint has been cured please note that Brake fluid can still strip it if it’s left for more than a few minutes, please have a bucket of warm soapy water and a sponge ready to wipe any excess brake fluid away when Bleeding your brake calipers. This is not something to worry about but more something to be prepared for so that you can act promptly to remove risk.
