A genuine pair of OEM Tokico GSF 600 Bandit (mark 2) fully refurbished front brake calipers. Will fit other Suzuki machines and some Kawasakis (ERF650 EX650) as well. Please check against your existing calipers or consult one of the Suzuki or Kawasaki forums for further assistance. Also study the photos carefully, as they form part of the description. Fully stripped and cleaned. Pistons cleaned and polished. New stainless steel banjo bolts and copper crush washers. New bleed nipples and rubber caps. Carefully reassembled using Girling red brake grease on the seals and pistons. Keeps water and salt out and extends the life of the (new) seals and the pistons. Complete with new brake pads. Just fit, bleed and go! Note: My refurbished calipers usually sell out quickly, so don’t miss out. Please be careful when bleeding any brake calipers to ensure that no brake fluid leaks on to them or onto the discs. Use a rag around the banjo bolt holes and bleed nipples when connecting and screw the bolts in FINGER TIGHT by hand then finish off with a torque wrench or similar. When bleeding with a rubber tube over the bleed nipple, tighten the nipple first (do NOT overtighten) then remove the tube by pinching the end before removing (as the tube will be full of fluid), then lift clear. Any fluid spillage on the calipers need to be removed IMMEDIATELY with warm soapy water and a clean cloth or sponge. Dab around the area. Do not use solvents to clean. Double check for any leaks before riding the bike after fitment. If you can’t fit them yourself, then please consult a qualified motorcycle mechanic. When installing your new Rezo brake discs – you will need to offset the rotor buttons so they are not mirrored left to right and if possible, we recommend fitting new disc bolts which should be tightened to OEM factory torque specifications. Breaking your new discs in – will take some time; you should especially bare this in mind the first time you ride your bike after fitting. Rezo discs usually take 100 miles to break in and you will notice them getting better the more you use them. Breaking them in should be done with gradual breaking at various speeds over time. New Brake Pads – must be fitted when installing your new Rezo discs, this is to allow the new braking surface to bed in correctly giving you a much smoother feel under braking, we recommend fitting a sintered brake pad for the front to get the most from your new discs. Failure to replace your old pads can result in improper bedding in and may lead to heat spots and warping of the disc. We recommend fitting sintered brake pads for the front to give the best braking experience. Before fitting new pads – make sure the brake caliper pistons and any slider pins are free and working correctly, if they are stiff or seized they will need to be cleaned or replaced before you continue. A caliper that is seized or not working correctly can result in the pads not retracting from the disc, causing an excess of heat to build which cannot be dispersed in the necessary time, leading to disc warping.
