Bandit Front Brakes

A quality pair of genuine Suzuki Nissin (OEM) fully refurbished front brake calipers. Came from a 1200 Bandit (Mark 1). 90mm between mounting hole centres, so will fit other Suzuki models also. Fully stripped and cleaned. All calcified crud removed from the seal grooves. Brake fluid galleries have been cleaned out. Pistons are in great condition and have been polished. Has been refurbished with the following. New stainless banjo bolts and copper washers. New stainless steel caliper half bolts. New bleed nipples and rubber caps. Complete with top pad springs, pad pins, R clips and brand new semi-sintered pads. Carefully reassembled using silicone clear brake grease on the seals and pistons. Keeps water and salt out and extends the life of the internal parts. Just bolt on and bleed properly. ALWAYS check that there are no leaks after first fitting and before trying them out on the road. As they are new pads they will require’bedding in’ to give optimum performance. Good OEM ones are getting rare to find now. You may not find a complete, cleaner one for sale on here at this price. Please be careful when bleeding any brake calipers to ensure that no brake fluid leaks on to them or onto the discs. Use a rag around the banjo bolt holes and bleed nipples when connecting and screw the bolts in FINGER TIGHT by hand then finish off with a torque wrench or similar. When bleeding with a rubber tube over the bleed nipple, tighten the nipple first (do NOT overtighten) then remove the tube by pinching the end before removing (as the tube will be full of fluid), then lift clear. Any fluid spillage on the calipers need to be removed IMMEDIATELY with warm soapy water and a clean cloth or sponge. Dab around the area. Do not use solvents to clean.
