Rezo stainless steel fully floating front brake discs are manufactured from a combination of high grade (420) stainless steel and aircraft aluminium, precision manufactured using CNC laser cutting with dual diamond ground surfaces for flatness giving your bike the high performance braking power that it deserves. The braking area is made from heat treated 420 stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance properties and high temperature (Heat-cycle) durability, both surfaces are diamond ground to produce a parallel fat surface, with a CNC laser cut slotted design and wavy pattern to give improved cooling for more effective breaking. High strength stainless steel rotor buttons help keep the rotor in perfect contact with the brake pads, also fitted with pre-loaded compression washers to reduce chatter and vibration, which is normally found on cheaper low quality discs. Made from 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminium for strength and weight saving. They’re also anodized in black to give a simple clean look offering good corrosion resistance to the elements. All Rezo brake discs are made to OEM specifications with the same diameter, offset and fitting points making them a direct replacement for your old units. When installing your new Rezo brake discs – you will need to offset the rotor buttons so they are not mirrored left to right and if possible, we recommend fitting new disc bolts which should be tightened to OEM factory torque specifications. Breaking your new discs in – will take some time; you should especially bare this in mind the first time you ride your bike after fitting. Rezo discs usually take 100 miles to break in and you will notice them getting better the more you use them. Breaking them in should be done with gradual breaking at various speeds over time. New Brake Pads – must be fitted when installing your new Rezo discs, this is to allow the new braking surface to bed in correctly giving you a much smoother feel under braking, we recommend fitting a sintered brake pad for the front to get the most from your new discs. Failure to replace your old pads can result in improper bedding in and may lead to heat spots and warping of the disc. We recommend fitting sintered brake pads for the front to give the best braking experience. Before fitting new pads – make sure the brake caliper pistons and any slider pins are free and working correctly, if they are stiff or seized they will need to be cleaned or replaced before you continue. A caliper that is seized or not working correctly can result in the pads not retracting from the disc, causing an excess of heat to build which cannot be dispersed in the necessary time, leading to disc warping. Made in Cleveland, USA, at the state of the art manufacturing facility, the “Double-H” sintered pads have set the levels by which all other pads are now judged in the European Market. The new rotors feature EBC’s unique and patented S-Drive button system which features square sided rivets captured in square drive pockets on the rotor and hub which allow the outer rotor blade to expand and contract freely under the heat of braking without suffering rivet lock. Rivet lock is the term used when rotors heat up under heavy braking and the rotor blade contacts the (normally circular) rivets that separate the inner rotor hub and the outer rotor blade. The new EBC system completely eliminates this problem area which causes 100% of the failures of rotors suffering from distortion and brake vibration. The radiator plates are only supplied for bikes without built in piston insulators. JJC – Making Motorsport Affordable! EBC XC Front Brake Disc & HH Pads Suzuki 2005 GSF1200S Bandit K5. EBC HH FRONT BRAKE PADS & XC DISCS PACKAGE. Made in Cleveland, USA, at the state of the art manufacturing facility, the “Double-H” sintered pads have set the levels by which all other pads are now judged in the European Market. The new rotors feature EBC’s unique and patented S-Drive button system which features square sided rivets captured in square drive pockets on the rotor and hub which allow the outer rotor blade to expand and contract freely under the heat of braking without suffering rivet lock. Rivet lock is the term used when rotors heat up under heavy braking and the rotor blade contacts the (normally circular) rivets that separate the inner rotor hub and the outer rotor blade. The new EBC system completely eliminates this problem area which causes 100% of the failures of rotors suffering from distortion and brake vibration. The radiator plates are only supplied for bikes without built in piston insulators.
