When installing your new Rezo brake discs – you will need to offset the rotor buttons so they are not mirrored left to right and if possible, we recommend fitting new disc bolts which should be tightened to OEM factory torque specifications. Breaking your new discs in – will take some time; you should especially bare this in mind the first time you ride your bike after fitting. Rezo discs usually take 100 miles to break in and you will notice them getting better the more you use them. Breaking them in should be done with gradual breaking at various speeds over time. New Brake Pads – must be fitted when installing your new Rezo discs, this is to allow the new braking surface to bed in correctly giving you a much smoother feel under braking, we recommend fitting a sintered brake pad for the front to get the most from your new discs. Failure to replace your old pads can result in improper bedding in and may lead to heat spots and warping of the disc.
